Layla Rayne Portfolio

I create with curiosity.

Fashion is observed, edited, and translated through art.
The focus is on silhouette, structure, movement, and material, reduced to what is essential.
In a culture that revolves around polish and perfection, my work values authenticity and imperfection.
The unfinished, the mistake, the page functions as a vessel for thought.
I am interested in what happens before an image becomes clean and resolved.

Silhouette is treated as an extension of the human form, not as decoration or adornment, but as a means of self-expression.
I use color and line intuitively to communicate tension, weight, and feeling.
These works are observations and experiments. They exist between art and fashion, and involve risk.
Risk in reduction, in restraint, and in choosing experimentation over certainty.
